Opinions Please Friends :D

ALRIGHT EVERYONE, I NEED YOUR ADVICE ON THESE DESIGNS.

As some of you may or may not remember, I was thinking of eventually doing a Cyborg 009 cosplay. However, I really don't like the original designs (not that there's anyhting wrong with them, I just wouldn't want to wear them). So what I thought I'd do was make my own versions of the uniform, more suited to the tastes of the modern decade.

I attempted to keep some basic aspects of the outfit intact (the scarf, the pocket/buttons form the original, the tunic-esque top). But other than there are major changes.

For those of you who don't know, here are the original designs for the characters from the anime.

How the Costumes works/ Explanation
Female
- Undershirt (black turtleneck)
- Gloves (black)
- Sleeves (would have to be made, detatchable)
- Jacket (to be made, altered from a pattern I have)
- Pants (black, must be altered at hem)
- Scarf (gold, to be made)
- Boots/Shoes (black)
- Belt (black, thick)

Male
- Undershirt (black whatever, so long as covers shoulders)
- Vest (to be made, probably more difficult one)
- Pants (black, to be altered at hem and add numbers)
- Boots/Shoes, Sleeves, Gloves, Belt, Scarf (same as Fem)

C009 Fans: Do you think the outfit keeps the generally mood and feel of the original? Any major design pieces these are missing/should be removed)

Sewers: What would be the most difficult part (specifically, I know the jackets would be hell overall)? Any suggestions for different parts?

Any other feedback would be great.
